PDR review Had an amazing time at Pacific Dunes Resort. Seamless communication and check-in process with the hosts. The king suite was as described, clean and well decorated, had the basics for most needs. I love the little community feel of the resort. Access to the beach was a simple, maybe 10 minute walk from lodging. A really thoughtfully designed pathway with a quirky bridge crossing, led to a quiet and serene beachfront. Only additions that could’ve helped make this stay more enjoyable: a hook or additional places to hang clothing in the bedroom. Instructions on how to operate the wall heaters, and updating the knobs as many of the labels had worn off making it hard to determine how to adjust. For travelers: Suggest bringing your own water to the site if you’re not used to the smell of well water often present in coastal towns. The walls are pretty thin in these units and I could hear the very boisterous family next-door, their conversations came in too clear 🤣 would recommend bringing earplugs if you’re a solo traveler like me and enjoy your quiet. Already re-booked and excited to try out the tiny homes— no shared walls!
Our stay in a glamping tent was awesome!!! The hosts were so attentive and hospitable, we highly recommend staying here. Nice bathrooms and cute cafe on the property and a short walk to the beach. Great stay!
If you’re looking for elevated camping this is it. My friends and I booked this place for my birthday celebration and had a great time. I got a glamping tent, my sister got a tiny home, and my friends got a van spot. The glamping tent was really spacious and comfortable. The wood stove inside is SMALL so you’ll want to bring something to cut down your wood. The tiny home was great for the kids and folks who wanted a more comfortable experience. It was clean and had most of the amenities from home. Our biggest upset was that NONE of the grills worked. Not the one with my tent, in the community spaces, or in the tiny home. So bring a camp stove just in case. Most of the food we brought couldn’t get used and that was disappointing. Overall it was a good experience and the access to the beach was unbeatable.
The tent was very neat and my kids loved it. The fireplace was a neat touch. Beach access is excellent. Hosts very polite as well Very quiet as well
Upon arrival was enthusiasticly greeted by Lynn who proceeded to assist me with problem solving.safe out of way place place.to park my rental truck/trailer which I was worried about figured out solution and she then helped me check into room which I was pleasantly surprised with- remodeled/well decorated/equipped and clean- short and very scenic walk to amazing and private beach which I walked in evening and morning before checking out- very refreshing and relaxing location - met some other nice guest who invited me to fire and offered some food which was very nice- shout out again to Lynn who I crossed paths with from check in to check out and had some good conversations/laughs- amazing over stay!
Great place to stay! Glamping tents are really cool, but tooo cold. We are locals and stayed 1 night. The stove was a certain size and the wood provided does not fit. So we stayed cold and had no way to cut it to proper length. No sleep was pointless to stay there other than our beach. We walked that in the morning and then got our sleep at home.
Stayed here 3 days/2 nights. I reserved a “tent” it had a king bed with a couch, small table and chairs and a fireplace, they also provided two towels/washcloths . It was clean. The bed was comfortable. The owner’s where awesome and checked in with us shortly after our arrival to make sure everything was good and to see if we needed anything - they also text you frequently about your stay, what’s included and if anything cost extra. The bathrooms/showers were clean and fully stocked the whole time. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a true “glamping” experience! Outside the tent also included a propane blacktop, a picnic table, cute sitting area with table and chairs on the porch and a hammock. It was quiet and peaceful. It was also priced reasonably. WiFi was also included and was easy to access!
Nice spot. We were able to get a spot for Labor Day weekend on the Friday of the weekend! Small RV spots. Bathrooms and showers need a thorough cleaning. No TP in the stalls, both women's and men's. Not quite the "bathhouse" I was hoping for. Nice trail to the beach.
This place was so cool, except check in. Beach absolutely gorgeous during full moon
