Run the Restaurant at a Wyoming Legend

At the Historic Virginian Hotel, we donโ€™t do boring. Built in 1911, this Western landmark has hosted travelers, ranchers, railroaders, and road-trippers for over a century. Inside, youโ€™ll find The Pearl on the Plainsโ€”our restaurant and saloon that serves as the social hub of town.

Weโ€™re looking for a confident, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, drive team performance, and elevate the guest experience. This is not a clipboard-only role. This is leadership from the floor.

If youโ€™re equal parts operator, motivator, and roll-up-your-sleeves problem solverโ€”youโ€™ll fit right in.

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing

Restaurant Leadership โ€“ Oversee daily front- and back-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service and strong communication between kitchen, bar, and dining room.

Team Development โ€“ Hire, train, schedule, and lead servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff. Build a culture thatโ€™s accountable, positive, and guest-focused.

Service & Standards โ€“ Maintain high food quality, service consistency, and presentation standards. Work alongside the kitchen team on specials and seasonal offerings.

Guest Experience โ€“ Be visible and approachable on the floor. Handle guest feedback professionally and turn problems into loyalty.

Financial Oversight โ€“ Manage labor, control costs, monitor inventory, and protect margins without sacrificing experience.

Inventory & Vendors โ€“ Oversee ordering for food, beverage, and bar programs. Maintain vendor relationships and ensure accurate counts.

Events & Banquets โ€“ Coordinate group dinners, local events, and private functions hosted at the hotel.

Hands-On Support โ€“ When itโ€™s busy, youโ€™re in it. Running food, pouring drinks, solving problems. Leadership means showing up.

Who Weโ€™re Looking For

โœ” Previous restaurant management experience required
โœ” Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach and hold standards
โœ” Financial awareness โ€” you understand labor percentages and food cost
โœ” Calm under pressure and decisive when it counts
โœ” Willing to live and lead in a small-town Western community
โœ” Professional, driven, and not afraid of hard work

We want someone who treats this like their restaurant.

Perks & Benefits

โœ” On-site living option โ€” Full RV hookup or housing available
โœ” Be part of a true Wyoming landmark
โœ” Opportunity to grow within the JET Hospitality portfolio
โœ” Autonomy to lead and improve operations
โœ” Live where the West is still the West

This isnโ€™t just another management role. Itโ€™s your chance to take the reins at one of Wyomingโ€™s most iconic historic hotels and make your mark.
