Just walking along lazy, little, Connor Creek, you can’t miss the miles and miles of stunning sand dunes, beach grass, and the parent site to the JET Hospitality family–Pacific Dunes Resort–nestled amongst the pines. Here in this unsung paradise, the simple things in life reign supreme. Glamping, clamming, sandy adventures with your four-legged bestie, and maybe roasting a mallow, (or four). The Olympic Peninsula and Pacific-North-Wonderland are penultimate, big outdoor energy.
Launched in 2017, the JET Hospitality brand started with just two units and soon grew as the Seattle leader in alternative lodging and social experiences. Pioneering the urban micro-resort concept, JET Hospitality expanded to Copalis Beach with the Northwest acquisition of Pacific Dunes Resort. Now, you can enjoy six fabulous JET locations across the West, sprawling from Washington to Wyoming.

Our purpose is to get you out on the open road—in the splendor of the great outdoors; but it wouldn’t be possible without the first lady of our family–Pacific Dunes Resort. With respect to the ‘fair-haired lady near the sea’ that began it all, JET has been pouring loads of time, energy, and resources into updates and improvements this year. She’s worth it! And just in time for razor clamming season!
ACCOMMODATION PERKS & UPGRADES
After this year’s upgrades, our quaint location in Copalis Beach now boasts the West Coast’s largest glamping and tiny home village (all new). In addition to cozy beds, and wood-burning stoves, each Glamping tent also has brand new flooring and Adirondack furnishings, a personal firepit, and Cabella’s gas grill on the porch to make that morning camp-style brekkie–delish!
We’ve also updated our charming bungalow suites and full-set-up RV sites. Each bungalow is now equipped with a deluxe sleeper pull-out, (perfect for kiddos or your favorite unruly cousin), and fresh coats of paint. The RV sites all have access to newly remodeled bathhouses complete with plank siding, and luxury shower heads. Most important? All are just a few steps away from each site.
Ever tried Glamping? For the uninitiated, glamping refers to glam camping, (get it?). We do all the work–and you do all the fun having. Just show-up, check in, and kick back. This past summer we added more amenities and space to all our Glamping situations, including personal fire pits at every tent, gas grills on every porch, and sleeper sofas to our Deluxe Glamping set-ups! Don’t forget the plush Pendleton blankets, crisp linens, electricity (including chandeliers–what?) and wifi!
Something for everyone? You asked–we answered! What started out as a love affair for one, (our OG tiny home), we’ve upped the fun with three more stunning tiny homes in our fleet. Ease your way into no distractions–and embrace a once-in-a-while minimalist lifestyle that’s also eco-friendly. Each tiny home features multiple sleeping areas, a full kitchen, a full bathroom, a gas fireplace, and so much more! If you’ve never had a tiny retreat moment–now is the time!
With the popularity of our organic campground, and being one of the first to pioneer the tiny-home retreat in the greater PNW, it’s a no-brainer to wave goodbye to city lights as you drive to the beach for a special weekend- as we are in close proximity to larger cities such as Seattle and Portland, it’s unimaginable to think of a greater way to escape from the typical day to day life in exchange for a “toasty” tiny home weekend.
But wait, there’s more? Yes! Find folks around the campfire and chat as people begin to arrive and settle in. Meet our Innkeepers! There’s a brand new fire pit and rec. area too. This new community space features Giant JENGA, e ‘beer’ pong, a sand pit, and even corn hole. Roast a weenie, or mallow–crack a cold one–and relax with old friends or new.

There’s no better place for an outdoor wedding, than at the beach! Easy to get to, (and check into). Quick setup for your out-of-towners & RVers. Enjoy amazing amenities and easy access for local guests too. Copalis Beach is home to waves of natural beauty. Your home-away-from-home for outdoor enthusiasts. What could be better than your next reunion, retreat, or wedding? Friends and family can happily camp and crash afterward, as newlyweds enjoy their retreat suite. Complimentary in-suite-tent-or tiny champagne for the groom and bride-to-be!
WHAT TO DO IN THE AREA
More than accommodations, there’s truly something for everyone at Pacific Dunes Resort. If that’s nature’s adventures at Olympic National Park or a nearby fishing hole in freshwater streams filled with native salmon and steelhead. Take a morning stroll along the beach with your loved one for razor clamming and beautiful ocean scenery, a swing on the green at Ocean Shores Golf Course, and wrap up your night with campfire tales or dinner at Pacific Beach.
The beach seems to stretch endlessly, backed by low, grassy dunes and bordered by the Copalis National Wildlife Refuge and Copalis Spit natural area, a haven for migratory birds–and bird watchers. The shoreline is an even bigger draw with rave reviews for its bounty of razor clams in season. Fly a kite, run with your dog, or just dip your toes in the sea. At the end of the day, your big decision may be to take another day off.
“River or ocean?” When you have a free day, is that your big question? Why choose? You can have both at Griffiths-Priday State Park! Griffiths-Priday is set on the Pacific coast, at the mouths of Connor Creek and the Copalis River, 90 minutes west of Olympia.
Need a quick bite and don’t feel like firing up the grill? OBR Bistro at Ocean Shores is the spot. Enjoy lots of options with a variety of classic seafood dishes, along with gluten-free and vegan options. Make sure you check out their amazing eggs-benedict or Fish Tacos. And bring a jacket just in case it gets chilly and you’d like to enjoy outdoor seating!
