Our 2+ acres of campsites have long been revered on the Bighorn. A fresh makeover has given this hallowed ground even more to brag about. With over 20 available sites, each with a firepit and picnic table, we can accommodate groups of all shapes & sizes.

Cottonwood Camp is nestled under towering cottonwood trees on eighteen acres of well-kept lawns, surrounded by uninhabited fields and marshes, and within sight and walking distance of the Bighorn River. On property enjoy full service fly shop and mercantile, drift boat rentals, grills, and more.

BATTLE OF LITTLE BIGHORN

This area memorializes the US Army’s 7th Cavalry, Crow, and Arikara scouts and the Lakotas, Cheyennes, and Arapaho in one of the American Indian’s last armed efforts to preserve their way of life. Here on June 25 and 26 of 1876, 263 soldiers, including Lt. Col. George A. Custer and attached personnel of the US Army, died fighting several thousand Lakota, Cheyenne, and Arapaho warriors.
